Service Hours

Service hours are required for many ranks, merit badges and awards. Some good ways to earn service hours are:

1. Help with someone's eagle project

2. Do a service project in the nature or parks around your community (canal, public park, side of the highway)

3. Work on a merit badge or award that requires service hours (environmental science merit badge, world conservation award)

4. Volunteer elsewhere in your community (retirement home, event for elementary school)
